“THE GOOD CAUSE BAND” RAISES HUGE DONATION TO CARE!

Firstly we’d like to start by saying a huge thank you from everyone at CARE, the amount raised by The Good Cause Band is CARE’s single biggest ever donation! The Good Cause Band put on a brilliant show for Bob & Sue’s Arnold’s 50th Anniversary raising £1550!! Jess, Nicky, Simon, Sue and Bob organised a fantastic evening in which the money was raised and donated to CARE.

Bob and Sues granddaughter Jess has been supported with her own well being by CARE for over 4 years and now aged 20 she is confident enough to give something back in return, volunteering as a peer mentor every Monday at CARE.

Saturday evening was the bands last ever gig together after 19 years, in which they have raised almost £90,000 for many good causes across Staffordshire and Birmingham. Unfortunately Bob has suffered with his own personal health meaning he now has to hang up the microphone.

It was a real privilege to be present at their last show, to share such a special family celebration and a fantastic surprise to receive this amazing donation. Thanks again, its overwhelming and will go a huge way to supporting the project. It will make a big difference to all the children, young people and adults at CARE!
