Interested in Learning Online?

CARE is continually developing online courses to be run completely digitally which you can enroll upon and complete from the comfort of your own home! These courses are free and funded by Staffordshire Community Learning.

⭐️  Gardening, Woodcraft & Recycling

⭐️  Four Seasons Wellbeing (Course 1 22/04 – 03/06) (Course 2 10/06 – 29/07)

These courses will introduce you to some lovely seasonal countryside activities to support your wellbeing – animal care, art, crafting, gardening in containers, herb & veggie beds, caring for wildlife, cookery with produce grown in our CARE garden and so much more! You will use resources from nature. and learn how to upcycle some of your own too!

The courses run weekly on a Monday, completely free and transport is provided for those who need it from two pick up locations (Stafford & Cannock)

⭐️ Nature Does Number (Dates on Request)

These courses provide an opportunity for you to use everyday maths in a range of positive bite-sized activities, rooted in nature – animal care, gardening, woodcraft and cookery.

The courses run for 4 weeks on a Tuesday, based at our Rural CARE Project. Dates on request, please contact us.

Online Courses With CARE!

Alongside our face to face courses we also run a great range of online courses throughout the year. All the course’s are free and for Staffordshire residents aged 19+ who are experiencing or recovering from mental ill health or people who have a learning difficulty or unemployed and want to support their wellbeing. ⭐️ Survive The Summer Holidays – A Family Course

New free online course for parents and families. Explore our toolkit of fun activities you can enjoy with your children this summer. Create rustic hand crafted games to take with you on your family adventures, become nature detectives, learn about the wildlife all around you, explore and have fun in the forest, learn to create dens and much more, have access to all the tutorials after the course has finished and share with family!

The course includes 4 online sessions starting on Wednesday the 7th of August and running for 4 consecutive Wednesdays until the 28th of August. Really flexible course and can be done to fit around you, please get in touch for more details.

⭐️  Discovering Art – Step By Step Journeys With Sketchbook, Pencil And Watercolour  (12/06/24 – 17/07/24)

A great free online course introducing you to some sketching skills and techniques exploring your creativity. Supported by a local professional artist this is a great course to learn new skills and improve your confidence with art! 

The sessions run weekly on a Wednesday starting on the 12th of June at 10am running until the 17th of July via our private Facebook page and online learning blog. The learning hours required to complete the course are flexible and can be covered to suit you during that week, ideal if you work and want to complete the sessions later in the evening.
