Aiming High Sessions July - August Summer 2021

Summer activities for children with disabilities and their families, includes autism spectrum, behavioral, physical, sensory impairments, emotional and social difficulties.

For families living in South Staffs, Cannock Chase and Stafford Districts.

Dates are:

July 31st

August 4th, 7th, 11th and the 14th

Sessions run for two hours, 10.00am – 12.00 pm

  • Feeding, holding, cuddling, cleaning, learning how to look after small animals – rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens. Collecting eggs and grooming goats.
  • Nature word searches and colouring-in animal & nature pictures
  • Woodland scavenger hunt to collect flowers and grasses, pebbles, feathers, bark and bugs to make a hand-made card / a portable bug hotel / bark impression prints / boggart faces with clay and sticks foraged from the woodland
  • Growing – planting summer flowers / herb pots to take home
  • Giant outdoor games
