NEW COURSES AT CARE – FULLY FUNDED PLACES AVAILABLE!

New Digital Skills, Employability, STEM and Supported Learning Courses in 2020

Our popular Four Seasons Wellbeing Courses are back alongside some new courses for 2020! We are now delivering STEM, Digital Skills and Employability skills courses at CARE. All the courses are educational but most importantly fun!

  • STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. These courses focus on learning new skills within this remit, developing a personal folder to record your progress and working in a group environment.
  • The digital skills courses have been developed to cover a range of areas including an introduction to basic computer skills, digital photography, video editing, using Microsoft programs, internet banking, using emails, staying safe online, social media and much more. The course is aimed to give an thorough introduction to each of these areas with learners having the chance to get hands on with digital cameras, IPADs and laptops.
  • Employability courses focus on learning new skills that will be of use in employment, team working and building confidence.

We have lots of new activities planned and loads of skills to learn in a safe supportive environment. The courses run on a Thursday throughout the year, even in the winter, from our care farm in Penkridge. The courses offer a range of activities, a few examples listed below, delivered by experienced qualified tutors. The courses are fully funded and therefore free of charge!
