CARE ON BBC NEWS SUPPORTING LOCAL UKRAINIAN GROUP

For the past 12 months CARE has been supporting the local Ukrainian community who are now living with host families across Staffordshire. With the help of Stafford Rotary we had a lovely day out with the families last year at the Play barn in Penkridge and we also provide activities at The Life Church voluntarily regularly throughout the year.

Last week the BBC camera’s came to the church to interview some of the group coordinators and find more out about the provision for Ukrainian refugee’s in the local community. The piece went out on Midlands Today (03/03/23) and was great to watch. Well done to everyone in involved, should all be very proud! Big well done to Carol, Desi & Maya who were all there on the evening and are now minor celebrities.
